The Harvest Moon

September 8th, 2014. It's bright and windy today, much cooler. In the garden we have some corn, pumpkins, turnips, carrots somewhere, kale, onions- For a small garden mostly in shade it shows what a yield can be. I'm already planning on what to bring in and how to store it- a greenhouse is in order I'd say….

Tonight at 9:37 P.M. is the full moon, the Harvest Moon. On the internet I read that the September full moon is usually known as the Full Corn Moon. If I were occupied with the garden and herbs alone, there'd be so much I 'd have to do now. But, as I'm coming to the completion of this huge refiguration of the work of 25 years,  I'm lucky to be able to just pick!

In the studio though the last of the organizing is accomplished and projects laid out. Tomorrow I can start on figuring out a 2015 calendar.
